Mandatory inspection
To ensure the safety of users, the government of India has made it mandatory for LPG cylinders to undergo periodic inspections.
The inspection of Indane LPG cylinders is conducted by the authorized representatives of the respective LPG distributor. The inspection is carried out to ensure that the cylinder and the associated equipment are safe to use and in good working condition. During the inspection, the representative will check the cylinder for any physical damage, rust, or leakage. They will also check the associated equipment, such as the regulator and the rubber tubing, for any damage or signs of wear and tear.
The frequency of the mandatory inspection may vary depending on the age and usage of the cylinder. Generally, the inspection is conducted every 5 years for cylinders less than 10 years old.
It is important to note that regular inspections of LPG cylinders are crucial for ensuring the safety of users and their surroundings. Any issues with the cylinder or equipment should be reported to the LPG distributor immediately for necessary action.

Pre-Delivery Checking
Before delivering an Indane LPG cylinder to a customer, a pre-delivery check is conducted to ensure that the cylinder is safe to use and in good working condition.
The pre-delivery check includes a thorough inspection of the cylinder by the authorized representative of the LPG distributor. The representative will check the cylinder for any physical damage, rust, or leakage. They will also check the associated equipment, such as the regulator and the rubber tubing, for any damage or signs of wear and tear.
In addition to the physical inspection, the representative will also verify the customer’s identification and the validity of the LPG connection. The customer’s signature is also obtained on the delivery receipt.
The pre-delivery check is an important step in ensuring the safety of the customer and their surroundings. Any issues with the cylinder or equipment should be reported to the LPG distributor immediately for necessary action.
It is also important for customers to ensure that they use the cylinder in a safe manner and follow the necessary safety precautions while handling LPG cylinders.
